Graffiti

“While I was in Paris, I accidentally came across a graffiti artist and I fell in love with his art. As it had been a while since I wanted to work with another artist, I proposed a collaboration. I love the speed of street art— it has a side that’s a bit destroyed, but at the same time very graphic, and I wanted to transpose that very evanescence into works of art.”
This collaboration, which extended over several walls, remains a series of paintings today. The canvases are painted with spray paint by the graffiti artist, and then placed with silhouettes of Caroline, painted in oil on the Plexiglas.
