Mise en Scène

“For me, as a painter, the best way to understand is to create and appropriate what I learn. I did this series of paintings as others study the history of art – by immersing myself in the universe of artists that interest me. In parallel, I also continued my personal research, especially around the disappearance of my silhouette in the motifs of each painting.”
Between chameleon games and appropriation, this series is characterized by its variety of styles and representations, in which Caroline notably reinvents Pop Art, as well as her own art style.
